Recently PMG Contractors put a new driveway and patio in at my house, and I was very impressed with their professionalism on every aspect of the job. The quality is extremely good and I have no hesitation to recommend them. My friends and neighbours who have seen my new driveway and patio have all made favourable remarks. Ray Witt - a very skilled tradesman, careful and well informed on his trade. If you require a concrete cutter make sure you get Ray if he is available, he was always on time and I have no problems recommending him based on the work done at our new home. Read review

Darren Wilson from Coastal is the best in business in this area. He trained under a top concrete layer and he’s turned out to be a class act as well. It’s the concrete layer that makes the job and you can’t go wrong with Darren. Highly, highly recommended. Read review

My outdoor concrete path is (hollow)-imprinted concrete, painted with a high-gloss black paint. When it rains, the hollows fill-up with rainwater. I asked for a thin veneer of concrete, to cover-up the hollows. It should match-up with the adjoining concrete. The contractor showed me some sample test-panels (from his book of colurs). I chose "glossy black". The finished job looks like "dull dark-grey". There is no match between the new and original sections of the path. Read review

Part of the job was done to very inferior standard, when pointing that out he agreed to rectify it. He arrived to fix the poor standard of work but advised me at that point I would be charged for it, despite me having already paid him four dollars per brick to be laid (in cash). All bricks and materials were supplied by me, consequently I didn't feel that I should pay again for him to rectify his own inferior workmanship. He has refused to complete the job. Read review

1 month job took 9 months. Later, sub floor walls found seeping / leaking within 1 year. Repeated requests for remedial action ignored. Company now being liquidated, this being the excuse to avoid repsonsibility for poor workmanship, specifically sealing to the back of the walls. Left with no option but to pay again to have the problem remedied by another tradesman. Do not use this contractor. Read review

They made a mess of my concrete steps and paving. They asked for substantial deposit up front to pay for materials. After that it cost me a fortune in phone calls to make them start the work. When job was finished, an employee waited outside my home to get rest of money. I wrote a cheque but stopped it, and we evetually agreed on an amount slightly more than half of what we was asking.
