Erik removed some cut tiles in my toilet when I had a new toilet fitted and replaced them with new whole tiles. He did an excellent job and did a very thorough clean up once he had finished. When I got the day wrong for him to come and look at the job, he came around anyway! I would have no hesitation in recommending him and will use his services again when I am ready to have tiles put down in the laundry. Read reviews

Les Austing and his wife are friendly and accomodating. Les is a great carpet layer - very professional and actually came in under the quote which is the only time this has ever happened with a tradesman. Came on time and did a fantastic job (even though the carpet we had was 2nd hand and hard to put down) - we love it! Would definaltey use him again and would recommend him to everyone. Thanks Les! Sean is a well qualified Australian Tiler who is pedantic about his work.The best tiling work we have seen in the times we have been building/renovating numerous homes over the years. His tiling work is outstanding he is courteous and polite, very helpful when we were not sure of the type of tiles we wanted and the finished result is superb. When I went to tile my house I had five tilers price the work I had a mixer of price some almost $2000 dollars more than others. Mark was one of the last to price the job but one the most helpful out of all the tilers. He pointed out areas that my builder had overlooked and put them right he also help with the picking of tiles to fit the look i was after. It seemed to happen so fast I was over the moon all the work was of a high standard. I have a friend who is an expert in housing he saw my job... Read review

Regardless of anything else, the end job is really excellent. The job did end up costing a lot more than the original estimate which even though we queried didn't really add up. We also assumed that because they dealt with tiles all the time that they knew about drilling into tiles and asked them to refix our shower curtain rail. The fact that we had to pay for the drill bit ourselves and that they hadn't done this kind tile drilling before wasn't ever mentioned. We'd use them again but we'd ask... Read review

Initial contact was great, having not heard from previous quoter! However, after discussion about direction to lay carpet and how patch would be made, arrived home in dark, looked OK and cheque posted, in morning however, better lighting revealed patched carpet laid in opposite direction so visibly different to existing carpet and cut along loops rather than pile in spite of me advising (from previous experience of patches with this carpet) that join would not show if cuts made through pile line... I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from the Floor Store and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I accepted their quote for carpet installation in 3 bedrooms and a short hallway. 2 tiles were cracked (the bathroom joins he hall where the carpet was being laid) during the carpet installation and a seam place across a high traffic hallway and I was told: It wasn’t the floor store's problem because the tiles hadn’t been finished with a metal edge.
