I feel obliged to write this review after having witnessed Efficient moving and storage move my friends goods from Wellington to Auckland. Having moved myself on numerous occasions with numerous Wellington removal company's i can say that efficient is easily the best i have seen in terms of punctuality, work ethic, presentation and cost. Having moved twice in the last 18 months and having had problems with each company I chose I was truly amazed at the Service I received from Van Man, I had actually booked another company that didn't show up on the day, one call to Van Man was all it took, they were there in 30 minutes, providing extremely efficent service, with a positive and can do attitude, and at the end of the day they were cheaper than the other company that had quoted me, they will be the first call I make in the future, ... I wasn't sure about a moving firm that charged by the hour as I had a bad experience previously when workers went on "Go Slow" and took from early morning to late at night to complete a job that should have been completed in the morning. Their boss had booked them for another job in the afternoon. When he gave them a shake along, they called in their cousins to help. Cousins didn't know anything about moving furniture! I have used World Wide Movers a couple of times and have always found them to be friendly and professional. They also seem to be one of the cheapest movers in Wellington. When I used them to move flats recently they did take a nick out of my coffee table during the drive but they also offered to take it away and repair it for free. I would certainly use them again. Pleasant office person. Arrived on time. Slowish though. Main man wore huge belt buckle that scored a valuable table. Seemed to take for ages. Pleasant enough team but seemed to take for ages. A move from overseas to Wellington. NZ Van Lines didn't call to notify airfreight arrived and paperwork had to be completed. When movers arrived to unload shipping container I found them to be unprofessional, unhelpful and I found 5 of them sitting on my lounge watching tv while I attended to boxes. I was disappointed that this company were over half an hour late, didn't apologise and don't have a mobile to call and didn't call me to let me know. They also were over quote (added GST) and dropped my fridge and tried to tell me it already had the multiple dents on it - my trademe picture confirms otherwise. My fridge no longer works and the foot has broken off. The speed at which they worked was ok. Wouldn't use again. Read reviews

I-move came late without phoning us to warn about their late arrival. Our stuff was packed leaving lots of gaps inside the truck. Insufficient amount of blankets, no special equipment for heavy loads, procrastination. Being paid hourly I-move worked very, very slowly (company's rip-off policy?). I wish I had read the other review on these guys prior to booking them. I got a quote from the company when I first called to book (not the driver/truck owner). I explained the size of the house, amount of furniture. I was told it would only take a couple of hours therefore the cost would be around $200 - $250 (which was compatible with the previous move less than a year prior).
